Microsoft deal values Facebook at $15 Billion

Microsoft finalised a $240 Million deal to purchase a 1.6% stake in the social networking site Facebook.  The deal value Facebook at approximately $15 billion.

MSNBC Aquires Newsvine

In March 2006, Fox purchased NewRoo.com.  Condé Nast gobbled Reddit in October 2006, the trend continues with msnbc’s decision to acquire the social news site, Newsvine.com.   The detailes of the deal were undisclosed.
